Its a shame that Komische Oper isn’t a “big” enough company to get some of its productions on DVD. I would love to see this Xeres (by Herheim) and Koskie’s Weimer cinema Zauberflote which looks like great fun.
It’s a shame that the range of companies that make it to DVD is so limited. Occasionally someone like Saarbrucken or Opera Royal de Wallonie will get a DVD out but it’s a pretty rare event.
